The varieties in Flag of Angola are intended to epitomise the biggest landmass 'Africa', and the slaughter as the nation battled for its opportunity. The flag includes a staff character, which is the portrayal of the country's modern labour forces. The blade image connotes the working class, and the star on the flag represents communism. As illustrated in the Constitution of Angola, the red portion of the flag implies carnage during Angola's power battle, and the dark half characterises the landmass.
