The Flag of Eritrea is a mix of the party flag of the Eritrean Nation's Freedom Front, which has been driving the country since its freedom in 1991, and the past flag. The Eritrean Nation's Freedom Front is the country's just legitimate ideological group, which makes sense that its tones highlight on the national flag. Rather than the star of the party, the national flag sports a wreath alongside a peace offering. The wreath has thirty leaves, representing the long term battle for autonomy. The peace offering has six leaves, which address the six managerial locales of Eritrea.
